City Film Guide was created by a location scouting and management service, in collaboration with a trusted network of industry partners, bringing together over 30 years of hands-on experience scouting and managing locations across Greater Los Angeles.
With a front-row view of the industryās evolution, the team recognized a growing demand for distinctive, cinematic environmentsāalongside the need for a more streamlined, reliable, and professional way to access them. Built on decades of field expertise through LA SCOUT āone of Los Angelesā leading location scouting and management services since 1995āCity Film Guide leverages long-standing relationships and an in-depth understanding of the regionās diverse neighborhoods and architectural styles.
Developed by location professionals for the entertainment industry, City Film Guide is a comprehensive production resource designed to streamline and enhance the process of discovering, evaluating, and securing exceptional filming locations
City Film Guide is a direct-to-industry platform connecting production professionals with verified location owners and representatives.
Our curated listings span iconic landmarks, urban streetscapes, private estates, and undiscovered propertiesāeach selected with a clear understanding of production needs: accessibility, flexibility, and visual impact.

Trust is the foundation of City Film Guide.
Every property owner and representative featured on our platform is personally vetted to ensure accuracy, reliability, and production readiness. While not all listings are verified, our platform does not function as a booking service for unverified properties.
