Nicholas Canyon is usually less crowded than most Malibu beaches. It has almost a mile of beach frontage and 23 acres of property. Surfers refer to it as “Point Zero” since it is one of the few perfect point breaks left in Los Angeles County. A City of Malibu permit is required in addition to the FilmLA permit. Still photography or small film shoots with handheld equipment will be allowed. Groups no larger than 10.
